Scented Atlas values privacy and collects as little data as possible.

The Submit form collects:

• Brand name
• Contact email
• Location information
• Website links
• Business details (store type, shipping regions, etc.)
• Optional identity tags
• Optional notes (160 characters max)

This information is used solely to:

• Review and publish your listing
• Contact you for clarification, if needed

Your email address is never shared, published, or sold.

3. Automatic Data Collection

Scented Atlas uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand overall traffic and map performance. Analytics may collect:

• General device information
• Page views
• Approximate region/country
• Referring URLs

These analytics do not identify individual visitors.

Any analytics scripts in use will be listed on the Transparency page.

4. Cookies

If analytics or map integrations use cookies, they will be limited to essential functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time.

5. How Your Information Is Used

Information you submit may be used to:

• Create or update your listing
• Contact you with follow-up questions
• Maintain the accuracy of the directory

We do not:

• Sell personal data
• Sell or rent mailing lists
• Use your data for targeted advertising

6. Data Storage & Access

Submitted information is stored securely through:

• Webflow’s form database
• Email notifications sent to a dedicated inbox
• A private Google Sheet used to generate the map

Only the site owner has access to this information.

7. Data Retention

Data is retained as long as your listing remains active. You may request deletion or updates at any time.

8. Your Rights

You may request at any time:

• Access to the data you submitted
• Correction of inaccurate information
• Removal of your listing
• Deletion of your personal email address
